Myrtle Beach was abuzz again last Monday night after a third sand sculpture appeared that had a striking resemblance to a South Carolina native and host of a popular TV show on Comedy Central, Stephen Colbert.
The sand sculpture was created by the same team thatcreated the wildly popular Mt. Rushmore-like sand sculptures of theRepublican and Democratic candidate, Team Sandtastic. While MyrtleBeach proudly showed off the unique sculptures of the presidentialcandidates, things were kept very hush hush while this third sculpturewas made, and it was mysteriously destroyed only an hour after it wasbuilt.
The sculpture’s identity was let out of the box after aweek of impressive silence from those in the know when it appeared on afeature of The Stephen Colbert Show.
