From the Times-Union:
ALBANY — Congressional candidate Steven Vasquez has withstood a challenge to his nominating petitions, a judge ruled late Wednesday.
The decision means the candidate will face Jim Buhrmaster in a Republican primary in September for the 21st congressional district. Lawyers for both campaigns appeared before Judge Roger McDonough in Albany County state Supreme Court starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday and argued the eligibility of Vasquez’s petitions for the course of the day.

It seems to me that Jim Buhrmaster’s lawsuit was a foolish move on his part. It made him look petty and gave Steven Vasquez much needed publicity. Whether it will make any difference in the end is another story, but I for one will be taking another look at Vasquez.
